Ciara McQuillan

Food has played a major part in Ciara’s life since a very young age, and little has changed since then. Torn between her love of words and her love of food, she studied journalism upon leaving school before pursuing a Degree in Culinary Entrepreneurship from the long lamented DIT in Cathal Brugha Street some years later.

She then went on to embark on a very brief stint running her own cafe before making the switch to full time writing. Currently, she is a contributing restaurant editor and writer for The Gloss Magazine and has also written for The Irish Times, The Irish Examiner, CN Traveller, Thrillist and The Telegraph among others.
